CASART - 37th Activation

Oneida County, NY, 11/24-25/11

CASART was activated by the NYSFEDSAR to search for Richard Knight, 64-year-old white male 6-feet tall and weighing 200 pounds dark hair and brown eyes. He was last known to be wearing a camouflage jacket, jeans, a camouflage hat, boots, and gloves.

Richard Knight  became lost while hunting in Sauquoit, NY on Wed. morning 11/23/11.

A command post was established at the Sauquoit Fire Department.  Staging at 0700.

The following CASART members attended. Doug Pirnie, Carl Pflanz, Mike Krumme, Carol Orsino, Paul Repak, Mike Majdak, Patrick Inserra, and Bruce Knudsen.

Crews searched wooded areas he was known to hunt around his home.

The subject was located mid-afternoon by a landowner that found him deceased.
